Le LCS est une unité mixte de recherche (UMR 6506) du CNRS, de l’École Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs de Caen (ENSICAEN) et de l’Université de Caen Normandie
- Nous préparons des matériaux et étudions leurs propriétés afin d’optimiser leurs performances dans le domaine de l’environnement et du développement durable, de l’énergie ou pour de nouvelles technologies (capteurs, vectorisation de médicaments …)
- Nous sommes un laboratoire performant et productif classé A+ par les instances d’évaluation nationales (HCERES, CNRS).
- Nos savoir-faire dans le domaine des matériaux catalytiques et les outils de caractérisations spectroscopiques sont reconnus internationalement. Nous disposons de plateformes techniques et d’équipes de projets expérimentées dans les relations partenariales avec les entreprises.
- Nous avons une forte tradition de coopération avec l’industrie (locale, nationale, internationale) à travers des recherches de nature fondamentale et de la prestation de services (LCSValoris)
- Dans le cadre de l’Institut Carnot ESP et grâce à notre implication dans plusieurs réseaux nationaux ou internationaux, nous offrons des moyens de collaborations multidisciplinaires permettant de trouver les solutions à des problèmes complexes.
